The best junior surfing championship for U11-U15 age categories returns with events in the 1- and 2-km beach run, beach flag and spring, surf race, and more this March 2-4. The Queensland Youth Surf Life Saving Championships will take place at the Alexandra Headland. On March 16-18 the esteemed Queensland Surf Life Saving Championships will take place in Maroochydore, featuring over 2,000 competitors from across the state. Australian Dragon Boat National Championships
For dragon boating it doesn’t get bigger than the Australian Dragon Boat National Championships, returning once again for six days of dragon boating by some of the best paddlers in the country. Competitors will go head-to-head in both male and female categories, junior and senior age categories, and lots more - all aiming for the title of National Champion. Be at this popular championship event for paddling on March 3-8 at the Sunshine Coast’s Lake Kawana.
Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival
The annual Mooloolaba Triathlon festival is always a big deal, featuring one of the biggest triathlon programs in the region. Participate or watch the events unfold including the Mooloolaba Triathlon and Mooloolaba Teams Triathlon, Mooloolaba Twilight 5 km Run, Mooloolaba Ocean Swim, Mooloolaba Superkidz Triathlon, and the Mooloolaba Special Triathlon.
